Privacy Policy
At Manufacture Arssans, we take privacy matters very seriously. We believe in transparency and are committed to disclosing our privacy practices, including how we handle your personal information. We understand that you value privacy as well, and we provide you with settings that allow you to choose how certain information is used by Manufacture Arssans. This policy outlines our privacy practices for manufacture-arssans.fr (referred to as the “Site”) and for other services provided by SAS Agence EASY - ELS CONSEIL, depending on your place of residence (“Manufacture Arssans,” as well as “we” and “our”). We refer to the Site and our other services collectively as the “Services.”
SECTION 1 – Acceptance of the Privacy Policy
To operate our business and provide you with our Services, we need to process your personal information. By agreeing to our Terms of Use, you confirm that you have read and understand this policy, including how and why we use your information. If you do not want us to collect or process your personal information as described in this policy, you should not use the Services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of our partners, third-party websites, or third-party applications.
The Terms of Use of Manufacture Arssans require all account holders to be 18 years of age or older. Minors under 18 but at least 13 years old may use the Manufacture Arssans Services only if they have appropriate permission and direct supervision from the account holder. Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to use Manufacture Arssans or the Services. You are responsible for any activity conducted by a minor on your account.
By using the Services, you agree that Manufacture Arssans may use your information in the United States, Ireland, and any other country where Manufacture Arssans operates. Please note that in some countries, privacy laws and standards, including the rights of authorities to access your personal information, may differ from those that apply in your country of residence. We will transfer personal information only to countries that are permitted by law, and we will take steps to ensure that your personal information continues to receive appropriate protections. Read on to learn more about how we protect personal information transferred outside of Europe.
SECTION 2 – Information Collected or Received
As part of our Services, we collect and receive your personal information in various ways. You can often choose what information you provide, but in some cases, we need to obtain certain data to enable you to use the Services and for us to provide them to you.
Registration, account setup, and use of the Services: To use the Services, you must provide us with a valid email address, and for Services that require registration, a name associated with your account, which you can choose and which represents your identity on Manufacture Arssans. You can review, modify, or delete this name in your account settings. This information is necessary for us to provide you with the Services. Depending on the Services you choose to use, we may request additional information to provide them, such as billing and payment details (including a billing contact name, address, phone number, credit card details), a phone number and/or a physical mailing address. This information is not required at registration but will be necessary to access certain services. For example, we need a physical mailing address if you purchase something on the Site that must be shipped to you. We may need to store credit card information (or arrange for it to be stored) and use it for both billing and payment purposes. Depending on your local jurisdiction, you may also choose to allow us to retain your credit card information to facilitate future orders.
Profile: You may provide your name and other personal details (such as city of residence) associated with your account and activity. You can update or delete this information through your account settings.
Automated Information: Manufacture Arssans automatically receives and records information from your browser or mobile device when you visit the Site or use the Apps or certain other Services, such as your IP address or unique device identifier, cookies, and data about the pages you visit, in order to manage and deliver the Services. This information is stored in log files and collected automatically. We may combine this automatically collected information from your browser or mobile device with other information we or our partners collect about you across different devices. This data is used to prevent fraud and maintain the security of the Services, to analyze and understand how the Services function for members and visitors, and to provide advertising across devices and a more personalized experience to members and visitors.
We may also automatically collect device-specific information when you install, access, or use the Services. This information may include data such as hardware model, operating system details, app version, usage and debugging information, browser, IP address, and device identifiers. To learn more about these tools and how we use them, please see our Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy and the “Use, Sharing, and Disclosure of Information” section below.
Geolocation Information: We may also collect information related to your use of the Services for advertising, analytics, content delivery, and to protect the Services. This includes your IP address, browser data (including referrers), device information (such as iOS IDFA, IDFV used for limited non-advertising purposes, Android AAID), and, when enabled, location data provided by your device. We may use and store location information to provide features and to improve and personalize the Services — for example, for internal analytics and performance monitoring of Manufacture Arssans; localization, regional settings, and regulations for the Services; local content, search results and recommendations; geographic configuration of the Services; and for marketing purposes (using general location data). If you have consented to share precise geolocation data from your device but wish to stop, you can withdraw your consent in your app or mobile device settings. Some Services related to general location (such as for security or compliance with legal regulations based on your IP address or provided address) are essential for site functionality. We will share your location details with third parties (e.g., mapping providers, payment processors, and, where applicable, advertisers) solely to deliver the Services.
Analytics Information: We use data analytics technology to ensure the site functions properly and to improve the Services. We use mobile analytics software to better understand the functionality of the mobile Apps on your device. These tools may record information such as how often you use the Apps, what happens within the Apps, cumulative usage, performance data, errors that occur, debugging information, and where the Apps were downloaded from. We do not link the analytics information we store to personally identifiable information you submit via the mobile application.
Third-party Information: Some members or visitors may choose to connect to Manufacture Arssans or create an account via a third-party external application, such as Facebook, or through an application developed using the Manufacture Arssans API. Manufacture Arssans may receive information from those connected third-party applications. Connecting your Manufacture Arssans account to third-party applications or services is optional. If you choose to connect your account to a third-party app, Manufacture Arssans may receive data from that app. We may also collect publicly available information to contact you. We may use this information to provide our Services.
Information About Non-Members: Manufacture Arssans may receive or obtain information (such as an email address or IP address) about a person who is not yet a member of Manufacture Arssans (“non-member”) in connection with certain Manufacture Arssans features, such as when a non-member subscribes to a newsletter, a member invites a non-member to visit the Site, a member sends a gift card code to a non-member, or a non-member uses the Guest Checkout feature to make a purchase. Non-member information is used only for the purposes disclosed when it is submitted to Manufacture Arssans or to facilitate authorized actions by the non-member.
SECTION 3 – Choice and Control
We understand that members of our community value control over their own information. Therefore, Manufacture Arssans provides you with options to supply, modify, or delete certain information, as well as how we may contact you. You can edit or correct your Manufacture Arssans account information through your account settings. You can also remove optional information you no longer wish to be publicly displayed via the Services, such as your name. You may also request the deletion of your personal account information.
Depending on your location, you may also have additional rights regarding your information, such as: (i) access to and portability of your data (including the right to obtain a copy of personal data you provided to Manufacture Arssans through your settings); (ii) correction of data (including the ability to update your personal information, generally through your settings); (iii) deletion of data (including the right to request that Manufacture Arssans delete your personal information, except data we are required to retain, by contacting us); and (iv) withdrawal of consent or objection to processing (including, in certain cases, the right to ask Manufacture Arssans to stop processing your personal data, subject to exceptions, by contacting us).
We use non-essential cookies and similar technologies. For more details about the technologies we use and how to opt out of their use where applicable, see the Manufacture Arssans Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy.
You can also manage how you receive certain communications from Manufacture Arssans in your account settings. Manufacture Arssans may send you messages related to the Services or your activity. Some of these messages are required as they pertain to member services (such as transaction or legal notices). Others, like newsletters, are optional. You can choose which optional messages to receive by updating your preferences in your account settings, and you can learn more in the “Messages from Manufacture Arssans” section of this policy.
We partner with third parties to manage our advertising on other sites. Our third-party partners may use cookies or similar technologies to provide you with advertising based on your browsing activities and interests.
If you no longer wish to use the Services or receive service-related messages (except those legally required), you can close your account by emailing us via the following contact form: click here.
SECTION 4 – Messages from Manufacture Arssans
From time to time, Manufacture Arssans may need to contact you. These messages are primarily sent by email, and each account must be associated with a valid email address to receive them. Manufacture Arssans may also contact you by phone to assist you as a member or in connection with transactions if you request a callback. Additionally, with your consent, Manufacture Arssans may send you SMS messages (or similar) or postal mail to provide customer support or information about products and features that may interest you. You can update your contact preferences in your account settings.
Some messages from Manufacture Arssans relate to the Services and are required for members and guest users. You agree that Manufacture Arssans may send you non-marketing messages, including those related to transactions, your account, security, or product updates. Examples of service-related messages include: email address confirmation, welcome email when registering your account, order notifications, service availability, feature changes, buyer message forwarding, and communications with the Manufacture Arssans support team.
When you create an account, subscribe to a newsletter, or provide us with your email address or phone number, you agree (in some jurisdictions and situations, through an additional explicit agreement) to receive marketing emails and messages from us. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in such communications. Members can also manage the receipt of certain marketing messages through their account settings or by using the unsubscribe link included in the messages.
SECTION 5 – Use, Sharing, and Disclosure of Information
When you access or use the Services, we collect, use, share, and process your personal information as described in this policy. We rely on a number of legal bases to use your information in this way. These legal bases include situations where:
• such use is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations as stated in our Terms and Conditions and to provide you with the Services;
• you have consented to the processing, and you can withdraw this consent at any time;
• the use is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or to exercise or defend legal claims;
• the use is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of a third party or ourselves, such as those of visitors, members, or partners;
• you have expressly made the information public;
• the use of the information is in the public interest; and
• the use of the information is sometimes necessary to protect your vital interests or those of others.
Note that we primarily rely on consent (i) to send marketing messages, (ii) to share data with third parties for advertising purposes, and, where applicable, (iii) to use geolocation data for advertising purposes.
When we process your information based on legitimate interests, we do so as follows:
Performance and Improvement of Our Services: We may use your information to improve and personalize our Services, and we may share your data for these purposes. We do this because it is necessary for our legitimate interests in enhancing our Services for users. It also helps us better understand how our Services are used and how we can grow our business. This includes analyzing how our Services are used, improving efficiency and effectiveness, and learning about user behavior.
Maintaining the Security of Our Services: We may also use your information for safety and security purposes, and share it as needed for these goals. This is necessary for our legitimate interest in securing our Services, such as improving protection for our community against spam, harassment, intellectual property violations, fraud, and other security risks.
We respect your privacy. Manufacture Arssans will not disclose your name, email address, or other personal information to third parties without your consent, except as specified in this policy.
We use your information to provide and improve the Services and our products, for billing and payments, for identification and authentication purposes, for targeted marketing online and offline (including through tools like Facebook Custom Audiences or Google Customer Match), to contact members or interested parties, and generally for research and reporting purposes. For example, we may use the information you provide to resolve disputes with Manufacture Arssans or with other partners. We may determine what products may interest you based on your shopping and search behavior on the Site (and elsewhere), and suggest potential purchases accordingly. A key aspect of our Services is our legitimate interest in personalizing your site experience to help you discover relevant items and recommendations. Likewise, we or our sellers may advertise the Services or sellers’ products across various platforms, and we rely on your consent to do so outside the site. This may involve working with advertising partners like Facebook or Google.
Legal and Security Requirements: Manufacture Arssans may also retain or disclose your personal information to a third party in the following limited circumstances: in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements; to protect, establish, or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims, including collecting a debt; to comply with a subpoena, court order, legal process, or other legal requirement; or where we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss, or to investigate, prevent, or act regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, threats to property, or violations of Manufacture Arssans's Terms of Use. In such cases, the use of your information may be necessary for the legitimate interest of a third party or ourselves to maintain the security of the Services, prevent harm or criminal activity, assert or defend legal rights, or prevent damage. It may also be required to fulfill a legal obligation, court order, or defend against legal claims, or serve the public interest (such as crime prevention) or protect vital interests (e.g., in rare cases to save lives or avoid physical harm).
If Manufacture Arssans receives a valid and properly scoped request for a partner’s records or information in one of the limited circumstances described above, we may disclose personal information such as the member’s name, physical address, telephone number, email address, and company name, where applicable.
Affiliated Companies: Manufacture Arssans is affiliated with several businesses with which it works closely for various purposes, including helping us operate and improve the Services. These companies may sell you products or services or, with your consent, offer promotions (including email promotions). Manufacture Arssans may also provide services or sell products jointly with affiliated businesses, including sharing information to support effective sales. When an affiliated company assists in processing a transaction, we may need to share information with them to fulfill the transaction. This is part of the Services we provide as outlined in our Terms of Use. We rely on your consent (which can be withdrawn at any time) for marketing communications and for sharing advertising-related data with third parties.
Aggregate Information: Manufacture Arssans may share demographic information with business partners, but it will always be aggregated and anonymized to avoid revealing personally identifiable information.
Service Providers: Manufacture Arssans also engages third-party companies and individuals (such as payment processors, research firms, analytics providers, and security services) to help us operate, provide, and sell the Services. These third parties have limited access to your information, may only use it to perform their tasks on our behalf, and are contractually bound not to disclose or use your information for other purposes. Engaging service providers is often necessary to deliver the Services to you, especially when those companies play essential roles such as handling payments or shipping, or helping us maintain and secure our Services. In other cases, these providers are not strictly necessary for us to offer the Services but assist us in improving them—for example, by conducting user research. In these situations, we have a legitimate interest in working with these providers to enhance our Services.
Business Reorganization: In certain situations, Manufacture Arssans may choose to buy or sell assets. These transactions may be necessary and in our legitimate interest, especially as they relate to making strategic decisions for long-term growth. In such transactions (e.g., sale, merger, liquidation, receivership, or transfer of all or most of Manufacture Arssans's assets), user information is typically one of the business assets transferred. If Manufacture Arssans intends to transfer your information, we will notify you via email or by posting a prominent notice on the Site and App, and you will be given the opportunity to opt out before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Third Parties: Third-party plugins may also collect information about your use of the Site. For instance, when you load a page on Manufacture Arssans that contains a social plugin from a third-party site or service (such as a "Like" or "Send" button), your browser also loads content from that third party. That third party may request cookies directly from your browser. These interactions are subject to the privacy policy of the third-party site. Additionally, some cookies and similar technologies used on the Site are placed by third parties for online targeted advertising and other purposes. These technologies allow a partner company to recognize your device each time you use the Services. Note that when you use third-party sites or services, your use is subject to their own terms of use and privacy policies. Manufacture Arssans selects and manages third-party technologies placed on its Site and Apps. However, these are third-party technologies and are subject to that party’s privacy policy. For more information, please refer to our Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy. We rely on your consent to place and read non-essential cookies in your browser.
We can only speak for ourselves; this policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that Manufacture Arssans does not own or control, or to individuals not employed or managed by Manufacture Arssans. If you provide your information to others, different practices may apply to their use or disclosure of that information.
SECTION 6 – Security
We value the security of your personal information. We follow industry standards to protect the personal data submitted to us, both during transmission and after receipt. Your account information is protected by a password. It is important that you protect against unauthorized access to your account and personal information by choosing your password carefully and keeping your password and computer secure, such as by logging out after using the Services. If you have any questions about the security of your personal information, you can contact us using the following contact form: click here.
Manufacture Arssans encrypts certain information (such as credit card numbers) using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. While we follow industry standards to protect personal information during transmission and upon receipt, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
SECTION 7 – Data Retention
Manufacture Arssans will retain your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, as long as your account remains active (i.e., for the duration of your Manufacture Arssans membership), or as needed to provide you with the Services. If you no longer want Manufacture Arssans to use your information to provide the Services, you may close your account. Manufacture Arssans will retain and use your information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (e.g., tax or revenue laws), resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and as otherwise described in this policy. Additionally, Manufacture Arssans sellers may need to retain and use your information to comply with their own legal obligations. Note that closing your account does not automatically free up your email address, username, or shop name (if applicable) for reuse on a new account. We also retain log files for internal analysis. These log files are generally kept for a short period, except where they are used to improve site functionality, for site security, or where we are legally obligated to retain them longer.
SECTION 8 – Your Rights
You have a number of rights concerning your personal information and how we handle it. Some of these rights apply only in certain circumstances and depend on your location. If you want to manage, change, limit, or delete your personal information, you can do so via your Manufacture Arssans account settings or by contacting us. Upon request, Manufacture Arssans will confirm whether we hold any personal information about you. By accessing your account settings, you can view, correct, modify, and delete certain personal data associated with your account. In certain cases, you may have the right to restrict or limit how we use your personal information. In some situations, you may also request the deletion of your personal data and obtain a copy in an easily accessible format. Please review the "Choice and Control" section above for more details. If you need additional assistance, contact us through one of the channels listed in the "Contact Us" section below. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.
If we process your information based on our legitimate interests, as outlined above, or in the public interest, you may object to this processing under certain circumstances. In such cases, we will stop processing your data unless we have compelling legitimate grounds or where it is legally required. When we use your data for direct marketing, you can always object by using the unsubscribe link in the communication or by adjusting your account settings.
SECTION 9 – Withdrawal of Consent
If you have provided your consent for us to process your information and use the Services, you have the right to withdraw it. For example, you may withdraw your consent to email marketing by using the unsubscribe link in such emails or by updating your account settings. You may withdraw your consent to the processing of your information and your use of the Services at any time by closing your account via the following contact form: click here, and requesting the deletion of your personal data, except for information we are legally required to retain. This deletion is permanent and your account cannot be restored.
SECTION 10 – Changes to the Privacy Policy
From time to time, we may update or amend this policy. If we believe the changes are significant, we will notify you by taking one (or more) of the following steps: (i) posting the changes via the Services, (ii) sending you an email or message about the updates, or (iii) posting an update in the release notes on our App platform. We encourage you to review updates regularly.
